New forums and changes update
As we continue to make improvements to the site, we have made a few changes to make it easier for group members to benefit from the site resources. Two new forums have been added:
a. Low cost paid for resources - A number of paid for resources have begun to be advertised within this site. Whilst we recognise that they can offer benefit to group members, the group was primarily established to provide access to learning resources which did not have a cost attached to them. Any paid for resources will now be quality approved before listing, members who contravene this rule will have the listing removed and may face suspension from the site. This rule should make it easier for members to choose between pay per use and free resources.
b. Resources for PMP® qualified project managers - As more of the group members are successfully completing the examination, we are seeking to provide access to low cost and free resources for earning the required PDUs. Remember that you can earn PDUs by creating and sharing knowledge so effective use of this site can help with this. For ideas and questions regarding PDU eligibility, feel free to contact the group manager.
Local Group Functionality
Due to the limitations of the groupsite package, and our desire to keep this as a free resource, we have set up a new group functionality for local study groups (PCMI GROUPS>Create a group here from the main menu). Please use this when establishing your local groups since we can then ensure that learning is available to all members, not just those in your group. This group feature has a range of social functionality including the ability to link into Facebook and Twitter.
These changes should make it easier to navigate the wealth of valuable information within the self study group, avoid surprises when finding an expected free resource has a cost attached to it, and providing ongoing support after successfully completing your examination.
Please do keep sending the group manager your great ideas for further improvements to the site and invite as many as you can - the more members, the better the knowledge sharing for all. Happy studying

We have now added a new Local Group with access to a bank of sample questions. Questions which are freely available on the internet will continue to be available to all group members, this new group contains additional questions which are available if you have been on a PCMi course or if you pay for access.
If you would like to gain access to this group, please mail the group manager.
