I think first question answer is A , since the scope of work has completed (assuming also acceptance is received) , the final payment might be related to multi project contract and final payment is delivered with the final phase.
second question answer is C , because final payment is not the end of procurement but also the contract closure as per contract

For Q-1 the is 'C' because for both either seller or buyer project will get close only once and for that archive is the last activity,so i think Ans would be C

1) C
2) A

It help to give an explanation of your answer
I just consider my answer from an SOW perspective - Statement of Work
The best answer is A . from a seller perspective need to consider deliverable of the contract . Scope completion makes more sense than payment
For the second questions C is the best answer. from a seller perspective payment is just one aspect, here is important to consider all activities to close the Contract.
good luck with your PMP exams

I know lots of people of have already answered but here is my 2 cents
along with an explanation:
I would answer d for both questions but this is assuming a lot because the questions are not very detailed.
First question is because if i am the seller, I am selling someone something, I don't care about their project or what part of the project they are working on. As soon as i get my final payment I am finished.
Second question, this has to do with procurement and the end of the deal is always when final payment is received.

For Q1 ,
A and B can't be the answer as C and D events occur after them . Now lets consider C and D. Now Close Proucurement from buyers point of view will also include payment to the seller . But Archive record is done after close procurement.
So C is the correct answer
Note: No matter its buyer or seller view ........Archive record is the last thing to do .
For Q2 , Already explained above so unanimously the answer should be C .
Hope this helps to understand this tricky question .

Why should the seller be bothered with lessons learned or project archives for project or procurement to be completed. In both cases a monetary transaction from buyer to seller, indicates closure of project / procurement.
Isn't receiving payment implying the buyer is happy with the work, and hence project closed ??
not 100% sure but maybe D applies to both ?

Though you are buyer or seller you are driving the project. Similar project may come in future for which sellers organization should be ready - so, you should have the OPA & lessons learned?
Let me shoot Q2.
option a - formal acceptance received -> but all is not yet over as I explained above.
option d - Final payment is made -> but this is not talking about the rest of the job
option c - (part) "Closure requirements as stated in the contract" -> just contract is closed but the rest of the job is left -
so the best answer for me is (B).
Let me look at Q1.
options a and d are out. out of b and c - C talks about archives but which archives? lessons learned archives or project closure archives? emmm... I will go with (B)
