I personally use Rita Mulcahy's book (PMP Exam Prep) in combination with the PM Podcast and Prepcast. I would like to take one of the PMI local chapter courses, but they are quite expensive and I don't have the time on Saturdays.

I started with Kathy Schwalbe's 'Information Technology Project Management' book.

I am also using the I.I.L. on-line prep course for the same reason. I don't have time on Saturdays.

A great, inexpensive exam sim at:

www.askaguide.net

why pay hundreds for 1400 questions in a diagnostic format when you can get a Windows PMP Exam Simulator at a fraction of the famous exam sim price?

All Project Managers are involved in the creation of numerous project management plans, like Quality Plan, Human Resource Plan, and other documents like Project Charter etc. You may see sample plans and documents, alongwith description of these essential plans/documents at the web site mentioned at the link below:

Dear Friends,

The PMP questions are good, and will be helpful to the candidates for the PMP exam.

You may also read sample Cost Management Plan at the link below, which contains elaborate explanation of Earned Value Management, including Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI). It is essential to understand these terms for the PMP exam.

Thanks for all the comments. Here are some sites I've found:

I would add a caution about free exam questions. I've seen great variation in quality. Free questions can be very poorly worded. Don't rely on just one or two sources.
